Student Organizations wishing to submit events to be placed in the What’s Happening simply need to create events in their group’s OrgSync Profile and check the box to request to share with the Community Calendar.

There will be live music, free food, as well as representatives from companies which make sustainable goods as well as research groups which do research in sustainability and alternative sources of energy.

10:00 AM The Thaw Festival (Kafadar)

This Saturday, April 21st, the CSM Slackline Club will be hosting its annual slackline festival out on Kafadar Commons! Things will start off with a guided morning yoga warmup and then there will be slacklining all day, with a competition from 1:30-3:00. Following that, there will be live bluegrass provided. Food will also be available.

Flag Football Tournament and barbecue benefiting the Sigma Kappa Foundation, which supports the Alzheimer’s Association, Inherit the Earth, Scholarships, and other philanthropic causes.

5:30 PM SHPE Fiesta! (Friedhoff Hall)

Kayaking Festival! (Clear Creek Kayaking Park)
Come out Saturday to enjoy some Boating, Burritos, and Beer! We will be having a boatercross event in the morning, a cleanup event, and a ducky race. In the evening, we will be showing Kadoma and Frontier. The movie ticket includes a Qdoba burrito as well!

As part of the inaugural Art in Science and Technology (ArtiST) literary journal competition and conference hosted by CSM on April 5th-7th, readers will present work from five university journals:  Ink (Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology), Signatures (Rochester Institute of Technology), Erato (Georgia Tech), Rune (MIT) and High Grade (CSM).
